Isabelle Meraner | Editorial Curator, Project Manager
Isabelle Meraner is an Italian musician and improviser based in Basel, Switzerland. She graduated her Bachelorˋs in classical flute at the music school of Lucerne in the class of Pirmin Grehl. Currently, she is doing a Master in Contemporary Music at the Sonic Space Basel. She is active in various ensembles and collectives, such as the Kulturbrauerei Luzern, which dedicates itself to organizing concerts and events of experimental music. Florian is a young Swiss pianist whose musical journey began with bamboo flute in kindergarten before taking up piano at age eight. After early studies at the Musikschule Schaffhausen and the Konservatorium Winterthur under Jun Onaka, he continued his training at the Musik-Akademie Basel with Tobias Schabenberger, then completed his bachelor's degree summa cum laude under Michael Lewin at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee. He returned to Basel for his master's in Piano Performance and since September 2025 has been pursuing a pedagogy degree with a focus on Creative Interpretation in New Music. Ioanna Boultadaki | Graphic Design
Hi, I am Ioanna, and I'm looking forward to experimenting with the visual of the Rhytune magazine:) This is a great way for me to learn more about graphic design - working with material that is familiar to me (music) but doing something completely new!
Yi-Chen Tsai | Graphic Design
I'm Yi-Chen, a percussionist currently completing my Master's in Contemporary Music at the Hochschule für Musik Basel. I joined Rhytune because I've always dreamed of being part of a music magazine team. Designing posters and exploring different visual concepts is something I genuinely enjoy, even in the middle of a busy academic schedule. I hope to contribute to Rhytune also in the future — whether through design, or interviewing artists across different disciplines from new angles.
